Don't know if my holes were out on my deflector from Pegaline. I guess he used the same file to laser cut them. Mine fitted fine, no problem.

Yeah, he says the holes are fine.

Must just be bad luck on my part - I'll see how I get along with the new "arms" when the arrive next week.

The "arms" - yeah, they arrived this morning. Got the entire deflector and housing from a breakers, at a cost of £60

Ok - I must be doing something stupid.. I've tried inserting the "arms" into the roll bar holes, and twisting the deflector into place - no joy. I'e also tried pushing the arms and deflector vertically down, into the groves... again, no joy.

Am I having a strawberry blonde moment?

Post a picture of your current state (no deflector in place) & a picture of their deflector with new arms fitted ready to go in. See if anything jumps out.

Hiya, I bought mine direct from Pegaline in Germany - absolutely fantastic service and so cheap you could buy half a dozen. Contact him direct via the link previously provided by Adam. Good Luck, Nev

With the weather we've been having, I've had to delay this so many times.

Finally installed the deflector! It still looks like the holes are in the wrong place. With the screws installed in Pegalines, the little arms kept snapping... So out of interest, I removed the screws to see if I could install it without them.

    Here are some photos

So the holes don't line up at all, on my one, at least. I'm going to leave it screwless for the time being, and maybe drill out new holes for the screws.

This is the ONLY way I was able to install the damn deflector without snapping the arms

You paid for this! and it was advertised as fitting a Copen?

A paper template made from an original is all they would need to get it closer than what yours are. I'd give them a right royal :mad::mad: if you spent a good deal of $$$s on it.

Are they as bozzed-eyed as the bracketeeer is! :D

Sent the part back to Pegaline a few months ago so he could put the correct holes in place - still waiting for him to reply to my emails after numerous pokings. I know he got the part because I sent it via registered mail.. Needless to say, I'm really not happy

Why didn't you re-drill it yourself? I've seen you are a bit of a handyman from your you tube vids. You've got glueing skills that would make you a Blue Peter presenter.
If being a loose fit was your worry with a 8 shaped hole, though I do't think it would be; put some tape one side, fill it with some suitable gobbo and flush. When its dry drill the hole as required. You wouldn't see anything as it would be inside the plastic bracket.

I was thinking that Trustafox, but Bernhard said to just post it to him and he'd sort it all out... That was a number of months ago, and I'm really sick of sending him emails.

Just sent another one - last time he replied to any of my emails was February, with his address for return postage.

yes not good for you. In hindsight you'd probably have wished you'd done it yourself.

Got the new one today! Put her in, without screwing it in, just the arms.

She fits! Will install fully over the weekend.
