Newbie alert! Got my Copen just a couple of weeks ago – really made up with how good it is. As well as all three keys, a fully stamped service book and all the original paraphernalia from the dealer, I was chuffed to find I'd also inherited a pristine sales brochure – nice thing to have. I've no idea whether this will come as news to most owners on here, but the brochure includes the little nugget that if you flick the sun visors right up above the top of the windscreen when the roof is down, you've got yourself a natty pair of wind deflectors. And they do make a difference! And here she is – check out that sun visor...
Just reviving this excellent and fascinating thread cos.... I've just discovered the answer to something that's always puzzled me. What on earth's the point of the words FUEL DOOR and little arrow just below the fuel gauge on the dash?? No little warning light that the fuel flap is open, or whatever, so WHY?? Well, Aaron Leth on the Daihatsu Copen UK fb page at last put me out of my misery (lol!) - he says that the arrow is simply pointing to which side of the car on which the fuel flap is located. DER! So obvious! Well, that's another small mystery cleared up. Enjoy! (slightly).
Your welcome I learnt about that from a youtube video that mentioned it for a different car, then I noticed that my dads car has the same little arrow, and mine, and the arrow points to the side of the fuel door on both cars, and they both have the door on different sides, so this trick is useful for any car that has this arrow.
