One of the reasons people buy Copens is the pose value. You'd certainly get noticed driving that, but I can understand you not being too keen on that look. It is a bit retro and won't be to everybody's taste.

This is the License Pocket Garnish. It costs JPY76,000! Agree it is so beautiful!

I should have said some people, obviously I don't include myself.:D

I took my daughter out in my copen with the roof down during the summmer and she told me that just about everybody we passed looked at the car. In all honesty Id never noticed anybody looking before. They're probably sympathy looks though.:(

This is the exact reason why I got this car in the first place. So much possibility to go retro with it. :D

 !!! How much? It's bloody nice though but I want an exhaust shield too so I think having the two would not suit.

According to the dealer, the garnish is made of FRP (should be Fibre-reinforced plastic) and expensive because it is a special three-layer plating product (i.e., plating the underlayer with copper, nickel, and chrome in this order).

Not my priority for now. :(

After some snooping and much Google translation used... I figured some mods were needed on the car body itself before the chrome fuel caps can be used. But I can't really make out what they did.

These photos would give a clearer picture of how it is done.
