Turbo failure after one day :(

    What did they say, how long was the delivery time?:eek::eek:

    They had to order it from the
    manufacturer ..Motair Turbolader - Startseite

    need some time.:wasntme: maybe 10 days..

    They said i have to pay extra for it because they do not have the part so I have requested a refund as it will take too long, I have ordered the part to student accommodation and soon I will move out for Christmas so I won't be there to collect it so will re-order from turbo specialists in UK to my home address
    They told me they will contact me by the end of the day for my refund

    Used to have a White Copen, but I sold it in 2023
    IHI should be the OEM for the Copen turbo, so you are good to go!

    Copen all nice and fixed now, had it back 6 days and seems to running perfectly! Fingers crossed!

    Hi everyone,

    I just thought I'd update on this.

    Emma got her money back from the other supplier.

    She's now done 10,000 miles on the new Turbo and it's been running like a dream.

    We change the oil and filter religiously at 3000 miles oil,
    and 6000 miles filter.

    I use a Blueprint filter, the short one, and Shell Helix full synthetic oil.

    Many thanks for all the help and advice on this thread

    Thank you Welz :)

    Since the Turbo, we've also renewed the four tyres, 2 new front discs and pads, new mid section exhaust and a new battery.

    So, it's quite a nice and sorted little car just now.
