We're all looking for chrome wiper arms. If a UK based company started supplying them at a reasonable price, they'd easily sell a few hundred once word gets around.

Joeleow you are quite right far to expensive, by the time you bang import taxes on you would need an small mortgage to pay for it ,would be far cheaper to get the arms plated yourself I may look into it.
I have considered that too but I need to find a way to remove the arms. And I would have to drive without any wipers for a week at least, until the plating is done. Another thing, the cover at the hinge is made of plastic. The shop I know only do plating on steel. I will need to find another shop who does chrome plating on plastic. :-((
I may look into chrome wrapping that would take care of the plastic cover that you mention most things can be wrapped and would possibly work out cheaper than chroming .
