    Hello there, I'm new in the forum as I bought a not running copen 659cc few month ago. I try now to get it running again.
    The problem is already with the electricity. I bought a new battery but there are no signs in the cockpit after I turned the car-key. It seems that there is a problem with a kind of "battery-relais". So I now hope to find some informations out of a Workshop Repair and Service Manual to download soon.

    Hi User07, Welcome to Copenworld.
    Sounds like a blown fuse issue.
    My fuse blew once that killed the car totally dead. No lights on the dash, nothing. This was because I'd forgotten to put the lid back on the window washer bottle. Which then sloshed out & blew the fuse. :eek:
    If I remember correctly the fuse was number 14 labeled as ECU IG & is a 10A fuse.
    Look in the owners handbook page 13-11 & 13-12. It was the fuse box in the cockpit not the one under the bonnet.

    Hello Adam K,
    All the fuses and relais are in god conditions. But I found a melted "cable melting fuse" just after the battery connection at the +pole.
    After I closed this connection temporarily everything was working again. So I ordered now a new fuse with a Daihatsu-Dealer.:eek:

    Hello Copenworld
    I now was able to download the service manuals. Great!:) It's exactly was I was looking for to get closer to my copen.
    I will post some further questions or answers as soon I have learnt more about the inside...

    The manuals are in the Directory section tab at the top of the forum.
    As your a newbie, you'll need to wait a few days before getting access to download them.

    Service manuals hard to get?

    Hi there,

    even my local Daihatsu dealer is not able to give these manuals to me.
    This is really frustrating - so this is my big hope...

    Cant seem to get the manuals!

    I know I'm a newbie-ish but still can't seem to get the manuals?

    I'm in the directory and try clicking on the red Copen pic... but to no avail.

    Help needed or wait a little longer? Patience is a virtue I guess....

    You need to have been a registered member for 2 days before getting access to the downloads, plus have posted at least 1 message on the forums (your user has met the criteria now).

    On the directory page, you should see a section with the title "Copen Information [Members Only]". This section will only be visible once you meet the membership criteria.

    If you don't meet the criteria yet, you'll see a section with the title "Copen Information [Guests]", which means you have to wait longer and/or make sure you have posted at least once before you can download.

    You can then click on the photos to access the downloads. With most browsers, this will open a new tab or window, so you may need to make sure that your browser isn't stopping new windows from being opened.

    I've also now added this information to the first post in the thread to make it a bit clearer for new users.

    I have problems as the lectric lock does not work anymore.
