No, mine is a 659. The original concept and runs very sweetly. As you say, a great composer. One of our all time greats !!
The build date is January 2004 but only sold in 2005. I imported it from Perth in Australia last year. A one woman owner in mint condition, garaged all its life. No rust !! I have had it undersealed to make sure it stays just like it. What's really nice is that it is silver with tan leather seats. Really very pretty !!
Nice! Mine has had two previous owners. Sakura also has a full-service history (I'm going to take it to get its next one this Saturday). Mine is a 1.3 Copen made in 2009 and also has no rust. Sakura has leather seats too and has a Momo steering wheel (I think this was an option for the later 1.3 versions. The leather seats are very comfortable!
Not as difficult as it might seem. Australia complies with UK compliance and cars are right hand drive. Australia doesn't make rear fog lights compulsory so had to have one fitted to get it through the MOT. The DVLA takes its time going through extra checks for Australian imports. Over three and half months once all documents were submitted for registration. I used MyCarImport to deal with everything from pick up in Aussie to delivery here in the UK. A little expensive but it saved me the hassle of the multitude of red tape and paperwork. Well worth it because I have the car that I wanted and in great condition. They are harder and harder to find. And what a joy at last !!
I'm glad it was relatively easy. I suppose it doesn't rain much in Australia so there isn't too much rust. Mine has no rust either so has probably been used just in good weather
Just had a service. They said it was nice but had a little rust underneath. I will go and get in resealed (wax protected) in the summer when it is dry so no water gets sealed in by accident.
