What a fabulous day it turned out to be. Our third KKITP and a nice sunny day again, everyone happy to leave their Copens open so we could all have a good look and see those little differences that make each one unique. I really enjoyed talking to so many people, whether it was about Copens, old Harleys, or three legged greyhounds. As in previous years there was an added bonus to the visit - this time it was the magnificent display of 100 Jensen Interceptors that were parked next to us (celebrating their 50th anniversary) and again another bunch of great people only too happy to let you have a real close nose at their pride and joy.
The spirit of Copen is very much alive and I can't wait for the next one :)

    - no, your car is fine. The bodywork is good condition compared to many and those seats are heated! oh and I think you were the only Red one on the day so it is a car to be proud of :)

I finally took up your suggestion to change the wheel nuts to those that are really for MX5s: they look much better and this is a tiny 'mod' that even I can do!

This has just been posted on the KKITP Facebook page.

The meeting is in Milton Keynes this year. It is short notice but would be good to see lots of Copens there again - we always try to have more than the cappuccinos

As you are all probably aware, previous Kei Kars in the Park annual meets have been the biggest UK showcase of Kei cars, growing larger and larger with each passing year.

2017 was missed due to personal reasons, however I'm glad to announce that for 2018, Kei Kars in the Park will be having yet another (smaller) annual meet. This time at the Milton Keynes Museum, on Sunday the 16th of September 2018.

There will be a number of different car clubs attending the venue on the day for their Heritage Transport Weekend, which means we will be limited to 30 cars max. (Really hoping we can have a full stand of 30 cars this year!)

I hope that a months notice is sufficient, and I understand if some of you won't be able to make it. However it would be amazing to have a full fleet of Kei cars at the event, so please let us know if you're interested!

Hotel recommendations, directions and anything else are available on request if needed!

    Where:

    Milton Keynes Museum
    McConnell Drive
    Wolverton
    Milton Keynes MK12 5EL
    England

    When:

    Sunday 16th September 2018

A donation is required upon entry (minimum £3 per car) which includes entry to the museum (usually £9).

Let me know if you want to attend! Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Please leave the following information if you would like to display your car at the meet:

    Driver's name
    Vehicle make and model
    Vehicle registration

I’d love to come although I’ve now swapped Noddy for a common or garden MX5. Is there general public access ?
