Every year I get more ideas for little changes to my Copen :) I'm sure there will be lots of inspiration for you.

Remember that it's just a meet. There's no-one with a clip board, and several of us drive our Copens every day and don't have another car so it's not guaranteed that we'll get a chance to give it a showroom clean. - just seeing a line of Copens makes it worthwhile :)

It's just over 140 miles each way for me but worth it to see lots of Copens together. It doesn't matter what they look like or how clean they are - it's just great to see them

Will have to find out how reliable my Copen is for a 124 mile journey haha, and if I don't have a football game. If I don't and I think think the car could make it there and back though I'll try be there :)

Copens are usually quite good on long journeys ;) there are usually a few that come from Germany.

No, just turn up on the day, nothing to pay - it helps if I have an idea of numbers so that we have enough space. We have a competition with the Cappacinos as to who has the most representation - Copens have won for the last few years >:)

Hopefully we will make it. Last time I was at Gaydon it was in my cobra replica, just slightly different to Dawn's Copen but that is with someone else now in New Zealand! Will look forward to meeting people and getting ideas to make it more personalised for her :)

Just in case anyone is in a competitive (obsessively cleaning) mood in September - there will be a bit of a competition although there is no need to stress about your car being immaculate.

    Prizes will be for:

From 1st to 4th place, best presented:
    Autozam
    Honda Beat
    Daihatsu Copen
    Suzuki Cappuccino
    Not Separately Classified (NSC)*

From 1st to 2nd place for:
Best presented Club - no pressure but we have won the last few years! It helps if there are a lot of us and we vote for ourselves

    Individual Prizes for:
    KKITP Champion 2016
    Reserve KKITP champion 2016
    William Boulton Memorial Trophy

Few cars are immaculate so you never know you might come away with a certificate!

    FYI

    Found this on www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/events/autumn-classic

The British Motor Museum’s Autumn Classic is the final gathering for all classic and fringe vehicles.

This year’s event will see visits from the Jenson Interceptor Club and the Micro Kiers Cars from Japan, but also welcomes individual car entries for owners to show off their vehicles in 2016. Last year the event saw over 150 classics gather outside the Museum.

Entrance is open to both clubs and individuals at £9 per person on the day, when you come in a classic car. Plus entrants will also receive a FREE tea or coffee upon arrival.

During the event the new Collections Centre building will be open, were you can see the reserve collections from the British Motor Museum and the Jaguar Heritage Trust, as well as the newly refurbished Museum. The day is expected to bring a vast range of different classics to the Museum, and is a day for likeminded individuals.

We haven't had to pay anything before and last year was at the same event. I will ask the organiser and see what I can find out!

I've spoken to Emily at KKITP she said that it is free to attend the meet but £9 entry to the museum if you want to go in and look around.

    I hope that helps.
