Daihatsu for me We have a Copen (mine really) and a Sirion (more the wife's) so for most everyday use it's the sirion, goes well for a 1 litre, cheap road tax, great economy, loads of goodies, and a really big little car.

We've got a Kia Sportage too. Sold a beautiful BMW in order to get my Copen - I wanted it as soon as I saw it! have taken me and my mother-in-law to Holland in the Copen! 2 lots of luggage, 2 adults, lots of vacu-sack space-saver bags!!

I own two cars. I also own an Audi 3.0 TDi Avant. I love that car, but my baby Copen is the most fun I've had on wheels in 32 years of driving!
I have a skoda superb 4x4. Totally different animal but the copen is more fun and more of a talking point.
"copen should defo only be a second car." Copen is main car and driven pretty much every day because: 1) it's fun 2) it's reasonably cheap to run 3) I love driving it 4) it's got cheeky/cute character 5) it's fun IMHO it would be a shame only to use it as a second car.
The Copen is too rare to be used everyday in my opinion. This car will be future collectors car. I drive about 4000km/year. I just bought a new Honda Civic 2,2 to trash in everyday use
I have a Kia Sorento 2.5 diesel 4x4 also, but since my hubby bought me the Copen as a surprise I drive her nearly every day, the Kia gets used for towing our caravan and trips to Homebase etc. I have had eight full bags of shopping in the boot and if the weather is good I put my groceries in the front passenger seat and footwell and ave the top down. I get looks, waves and comments each time I go out in "Babe" but have never seen another Copen whilst out in mine. I guess Pikachou is close to me I keep looking for her!!
I'm the same as you. I drive my Copen every day unless I've been somewhere like Ikea in which case I use the Avensis. It surprised me too how much you can get in the boot, and I too put all my stuff in the passenger seat and have the roof down so I look cool if I can I saw my first Copen when I was driving mine today! Very exciting.

Other car Hi, My main car is a Saab 9-3 Vector, mainly used for work and long motorway journeys when we need the extra boot space. I love driving my Copen though as its nippy, manual (my saab's Auto), and it's such a cool car just to be seen in. Especially with the roof down.
Main car: a Mitsubishi outlander for those shopping trips and the winter. 2nd car: the copen, aka Noddy. For those times that I want a smile on my face.
Most recent addition is a 2013 vw beetle 1.4 design--very nice to drive..... we also have a 2011 vauxhall agila 1.2 great to get me to work, the copen is used when it's sunny and warm and dry. At the moment she's being restored........lot's of rust to get rid of:-((
