I've just had a look at the NERT website.I notice that your monthly meets are held in a pub Do you get a decent turn out for the monthly meetings and the events that are organised? I don't know of any clubs like that in my neck of the woods.
Nert Monthly meetings will normally attract 20/25 through out the winter and our best last summer was 65 cars,about 100 people Glad it was nice as with so many we had to be outside Events,we would originally have booked spaces for 10 cars,then 15 and now our events manager says an average of 20 Duxford saw a stand of 24(inc three copens) Best last year at Cressing Temple show saw 42 cars on our stand All really depends on the weather,the hotter and sunnier the better turn out As i have said before all are welcome to join in anything Nert do,even if you want to make a weekend of it,we can recommend some places to stay and we normally meet up for dinner the night before the show with our guests
HI, I've just brought one privately, paid £2,500 for a 2003 plate with 49,000 miles on clock, FSH, A few marks here and there but nothing serious, Black with red heated seats. I was looking at silver ones as they are the most common colour and widely available, but I always wanted black with red. Looks cool. (I'll post a pic on here as soon as I upload it). Anyway I'd say from what your after, don't pay the asking price, always start lower. Maybe you should expect to pay around £3,000-£4,000. Work on average that the car does 10,000 miles per year. Your looking to buy a 2009 model which will be the 1.3 version with spoiler (doesn't look right) Sorry! Check ebay for sellers, plenty about, well 36 last I looked! Hey roy, that sounds like an awesome deal you got there. I must say whilst looking at copens I have changed my mind and am more into the black ones with red leather seats as well. However I havent been able to find a deal like yours. Am going on the hunt next week again but to be honest im not willing to pay more than 3000 for a copen. Will hope that there is soon a nice black one showing up for a reasonable price, although I have laid my eyes on a silver one with body kit which looks quite nice too. Hopefully I will be a copen owner soon too! All the best with your car, sounds like u got a good deal!
