Hmm nice copen.. I like the color of your drive.....because its my favorite color, but the previous rims are more good then these coper color rims. Anyhow thanks for sharing the photos of your ride. I love that shot where your car is under the snow.

Can you remember how you did it in the end? Just spent 20 minutes trying to do mine only for it to look all creased & then it just slid off when I touched it! One of the seams is already starting to split from the effort of stretching it on.

    Hi

Nice motor, you've done a lot to her.
Where'd you get the Chrome roof latches from? do they just fit over the originals?
Also I've been trying to get hold of a pair of seat belt guides, any recommendations where to get them from?

    Thanks

I remember using a special leather glue, can't remember the name though. If I remember correctly I asked for advice from the eBay seller & he recommended the glue. It was really sticky stuff & held well. The tough bit was keeping it smooth & getting the stitching straight.

Cheers RHD. The chrome latches are just chromed plastic covers that stick on. Supplied from here:

The Kumoi seat belt guides I imported are no longer available. None of the other brands I've seen are nowhere nears a nice as the Kumoi ones.
    These are your other options:
    Chrome Designs:

There are probably others but I can't think of any others. Isn't DAG making some?

Missed the bit in the listing stating it needed gluing on. The seller told me to use uhu glue. I'll have another go on Saturday.

Before I buy the handbrake gaiter can you just clarify do I actually have to remove the hand brake lever to fit as pictured earlier in this thread? Or can it just be slipped over?

Can't remember to be honest, I was swapping my handbrake over to the leather handle accessory at the same time. I think it just slipped over. Anyone else know for sure?

From Memory you slip off the Rubber Gaiter and just pull the Leather Gaiter over the Handle and Tuck it into the Slot.

I think this is easier if you have the Standard Handbrake and not the Leather Handbrake which is thicker.

I just slipped it on without removing it. It was a bit fiddly to get it to sit right but not too difficult.

    Adam,

Since you've pimped your Copen to the max has your insurance premiums gone up much?

Does it take you a long time to list all the mods on the insurance quote? I'd be worried I'd forget to list one & then get my insurance voided if I made a claim.

You know how these companies try to wriggle out of paying out using any little clause.

Yep, it's a bit of a pain listing the mods to the insurance company. Didn't have any major effects on my premium. As all the exterior updates are genuine Daihatsu accessories the premium wasn't effected so much. The BOV & induction kit also didn't effect things much.

my other thoughts were also getting getting custom seat belts in silver or red

Not really sure what this is mate? Is it something similar to a wastegate helper spring?
