Beautifully done and good taste just the petrol cap I'm not too keen on. Are they all daihatsu parts??? Love the radiator protector. I want one and the cap too. Please email me to let me know.
Tunedtimer, are they decorative bolt on exhaust trims sticking out the back of your Copen? This type of trim?..........
Hi DaG,the exhaust are not decorative,i have replace the old Final flusher with new Final flusher(chrome stainless steel) and i also put exhaust gas recirculation for maximum perfomance.This type exhaust system made from an expert and it takes about 4 hours.The sound is a pure bass,not too loud when you driving.I think that type of cars(Copen) need sound and style.......
Front grill Hi Adam, I really like your new grill and am thinking of getting one for my Copen. Would you say that I need an air deflector behind the new grill or does it offer enough protection on it's own? I'd appreciate your opinion. Also my husband wants to know if it is difficult to fit! Thank you.
The Cooper S looks good Adam, but I must admit its lost quite a bit on a red car. Now on a silver Copen!! have you considered or will you be lowering the Copen badge to give a better line up? Why not relocate it in the middle where the Daihatsu emblem was?
Nope you don't need the air deflector. Thats's only there to protect the induction air filter. No problem if you have the standard air intake. You have the 1.3 Copen, so no problems at all. The grills are very easy to fit, just three plastic fixings hold them in. Less than a five minute job. I was thinking of getting a new Copen badge & lowering them both down about an inch or so, but still on the RH corner. I'm in no rush though.
After 2 1/2 years of looking & getting outbid on a set on eBay, I've finally got a set of brand new genuine Daihatsu accessory gold Minilites! . For a bargain price too! Anyone else seen them on eBay, I've noticed since buying my set he's put the price up! So I'll have a nice set of standard alloys for sale soon.
There is somebody on eBay selling new gold minilites for £60 each on eBay. Are they the ones you got?
Yep, the Minilite centre caps will go on. I think the gold Minilite only works for red or green Copens. Hi Adam, purchased my copen with gold wheels (it's green) didn't like the minilite centre so put a daihatsu badge over it!! My front ones are showing a bit of wear and was going to get them refurbished but those ones you've seen are cheaper so might just replace them!!! Have you received them yet? Can I ask did you pay purchase price or make them an offer? Your photo link is good, could have been me except mine are both green - what can I say I love small green cars
yes I think the gold goes with a red car, and the green. I'd also say with the dark metallic blue they would suit also. Gives it a bit more of sporty/aggressive look.
