Sounds like you have a good local dealer.

Was there ever any instructions on 'how to re-align' the boot hinges?

I am pretty sure I have the same problem

    Many thanks

    Hi

I have replied to a post about my adjustment issue and added a couple of pages from the service manual here:

    https://www.copenworld.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=1511&page=2

Also, I have attached some further information about the roof adjustment below.

Maybe you can make some sense of them?

    Hi all

As a thought all the hinges on the Copen are very well made and on ours as well as the locks all are well lubricated with white spray grease which when sprayed goes into the joints as a liquid and then sets as a grease film. Lubrication relieves pressure. The actuators have to use a fair amount of electrical power to operate. If the engine is running at the time it also helps in delivering 14volts into the actuators. If this does not work, then look at realigning the hinges.

    Hope this helps
