Does anyone know where I could get my turbo repaired? Or get a remanufactured (or scrapped) one at low cost? Coming up to Christmas.... what a nightmare :-(confused::-(( HELP!!!!!!!!!
Hi Cazwoo27, Welcome to Copenworld. Sorry your having turbo trouble. Used Copen turbo's are like rocking horse poop! Rare! They occasionally come up on ebay but disappear quickly. Ebay thanks Adam, I saw that one, but with Xmas looming I was hoping to get it repaired or something a little cheaper...Eckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!! They are very expensive :-(( Any other suggestions????
You could try to import a used one from Japan? E-mail Jesse streeter, he lives in Japan & imports parts for people. I've used him before. Very good service. Tell him your looking for a second hand Copen (L880K) Turbo. He'll try to find one & give a cost for importing to the UK. http://jessestreeter.com/ Your only other hope is to watch ebay & try to search breakers.
Hi cazwoo27, you could also try STK Turbo Technik in Germany (at least you save import duties, assuming you are based in the UK). A member of forum.micro-roadster.de got a new turbo from them. Hi sorry I'm new to this, my turbo went on mine last mouth, it cost me £1400 in all to fit as well I didn't think that was to treble,it still hurt the pocket thou, mines 2006 model I don't no what your is?
