Wondering if everyone elses Copen is the same as ours?

I have noticed on my OH's 660cc Copen that she has two hoses that come out of the top of the coolant expansion tank lid.. one is plumbed in to the radiator somewhere but the one that is on the right hand side (as you look at the engine bay) isnt connected to anything - it just curves downwards. Wondering if everyone elses is the same as it seems a bit strange to me? If its supposed to be plumbed in somewhere can someone show me where?
