Hi :)! im thinking of buying a new wind deflector with "copen" on it. Would it be possible to put some kind of LED lights in the wind deflector so when i turn on my lights they will come on? how would i go about putting LED's in the deflector?

Put a row of LEDs along the bottom edge of the deflector. They will shine up and light up the deflector. You can buy glass shelves that have LEDs set into one edge to light up the shelf.
I'm not sure how you'd attach the LEDs to the deflector edge. Maybe set them into the parcel shelf where they would be easy to wire into the rear lights circuit.
Remember it is illegal to show white light at the back of your car. Not sure if anything but red is legal actually.

Buy some of these and use clear silicone to attach them or fix to the shelf directly below the deflector.

I was going to say what DaG said about other than red showing from the rear. So I second him statement. Not that I know the exactness of the law.

Anyone done up a bigger deflector? I feel that the stock size doesn't really function well like what this write up has shown.

I was racking my brain trying to remember where I'd seen that. Thanks Scooty. ;)

Does look like an option but I was hoping something more elegantly attached to the existing holders. Anyone tried it before? Does it work well?
