When I sign in it has always taken me to a page and I have to click one of the tabs for example to get to the functional parts of the site. well now it goes to the same page but then quickly goes to a completely plain white page that has no links on it. So I have to go to the site via my favourites. Is this what others experience or why after logging in doesn't it take me to the site directly. EDIT: just copied the message I get. Redirecting... Thank you for logging in, trustafox. Click here if your browser does not automatically redirect you.
I had a bit of an issue last week. When I went to the site from my shortcut it went to the front page, but then had some sort of invalid something something notice appeared. The second time I tried to access the site it worked. Just thought it was me. This week it's been working fine.
I never get to the welcome page unless I press the welcome tab. maybe the re-direct would but it takes too long and doesn't show signs on going. But now I'm moving, but just to a blank page!
Do you usually log in from a saved bookmark? If so, it might be worth completely deleting it and re-creating it, as the website has been restructured many times over the years, and some older bookmarks may not work correctly any more. Deleting your browser history after recreating the bookmark would also be worth a try to stop it from using any old cached files. If that doesn't help, I can take a look at the problem to see if I can figure it out. I'd need know what Operating System and browser (plus version number) you're using, and what the full address is that you get in the browser address bar when it says it's redirecting.
I had a similar problem on a SAFC messagel board I go on. I found I was being taken to a blank page though it had the boards usual logos and headers. This happened using my iPad and my phone which is an Android. Deleting the bookmarks and recreating them solved the problem.
