I'd be interested in how much the quotes are.

Slightly off topic, but I've been told by my insurance broker to not declare locking wheel nuts if you have them (I don't), as it implies you have non-standard wheels - thus increasing premiums.

That might just be for my own insurance company, it might be an Irish thing, or it may be he's telling porkies.

There are plenty of locking nuts on eBay, not sure of the lengths though. You could contact the sellers and ask how long they to decide if they will fit flush.

It's possible to hammer a socket over some locking nuts, the best ones are made so the outers rotate freely.
Without the removal key it is also very difficult for you to remove them as well as a thief if you lose the key. I know because it happened to me.

Insurers always look for any excuse to put up premiums. Having a respray can put it up as well as the tiniest of modifications. We aren't called rip off Britain for no reason.

Personally, I like the wheel nuts that are longer and stick out!
Although from a practical point of view there may be good reasons NOT to do this.

    Leather change

Ok most quotes are back to change my red leather to Ivory or grey .
They range from £750 excluding the steering wheel ?
£950 for seats doors and steering wheel Up to £2300 gulp
And a fair few In between .

I might have to get used to the red for a while :)
If I can find some one with some black cloth or black leather ones they want to do a deal with me for some red leather ones I may be interested , my interior is in lovely condition and can send pics etc if you would like to look .

Or i may look out for a second hand interior ,then maybe sell mine on e bay ,but not sure how much a red interior may be worth ?

I'm in no rush and must try to stay sensible :)
