Hello ladies and gents hope you're all well and enjoying the weather My 0.6 copen is in need of a service and given that I'm probably the most inept mechanic in history of man I'd like some info (preferably with links if you don't mind) I want the oil changed, is that a full oil change? Which oil is the best to ask for? The oil filter (someone suggested a particular brand from evilbay) Basically I want it to be prepped due for MOT in August can anyone suggest anything else that could be done? It's got 55'000 miles on the clock. Many thanks for any tips or advice in advance. Much appreciated! Chris
Service If your not good with tools these lovely cars can be difficult to service. The oil filter is in a terrible place but has to be done or risk the turbo. I use Castrol GTX Magnatec 5W 30 and a slightly larger oil filter than standard, an L10193PS from Euro Car Parts.
