My wife's Copen is in the paintshop and the man has said it will ruin the job if he has to try to mask off the rubbers. He has said that they won't come off and be reusable ,so I would really like to locate some new ones. There are three on the roof which he is asking for.

Rubbers can be adequately removed for paint (unless I suppose they're in a really bad shape anyway), check out my post in general "one week in out of three", just had full job done, welding, re-spray and waxoyl, hope this might help.

After finding out that two of the seals are on back order,my painter said he will find a work around. I contacted N.T. Shaw of Louth and found them to be very helpful.Edward in the parts department said that most parts can be ordered and that just some odd bits are no longer available.

Sorry I haven't replied sooner. They are a parts agent and apart from discontinued items can get parts directly from Daihatsu. I would think they can post or courier parts. They were really helpful so would recommend you give them a call.
