    I've had some roof troubles and have really appreciated how much advice there is available on the site.

    I've shorted the pins on the ODBII connector and had errors 51 and 81. I've disconnected the roof ECU and one of the yellow/blue wires has come loose which I need to extend and put back into the terminal, slot 9 .. or was it 6, I can't remember :( . Does anyone know what type/amp wire I can use? Also, is it a female pin connector for the terminal?

    You know you can reuse your original thread ? There are at least 3 threads that you’ve started that all relate to your bloody roof !

    Actually Rob, I've only started one thread about my roof problem (this one) which is a very specific question about wires to the ECU. I've made 3 comments on other threads (one simply stating that I had a paperclip ready for the OBDII shorting). I don't think I've made excessive posts about my issues (actually trying to be more involved in the online community). I really appreciate all the advice on the forum and have made progress, thanks to that advice, which is why I started a new thread specific to the ECU wires - which after searching through the forum hadn't been asked/discussed much.

    Ok, I was a bit hasty and grumpy as the homepage seemed to be all Hubbington and his roof !

    Anyway, finding the pin diagram is elusive. Have you seen this thread ?

    Roof - works, but only after I've opened/closed the boot

    The all important pictures are missing and threepot hasn’t been seen since last August but @marnob is still active and you may be able to contact @Number6 who has also followed the procedure. The latter has a YouTube page for his many mods.

    Further digging brings up this thread

    Boot / Roof Dont work

    Which seems to hit the jackpot as the webpage is redirected to a new trading name but in the right county so worth a shot.

    I would email and ask if he is @threepot from the Copenworld forum and if he’s willing to help. If you get the pdf codes file, ask the mods to post it in the resources section.

    I'm a bit new to how forums work and didn't realise that posting a comment made it jump to the top of the homepage. Appreciate I'd made a few "me and my poor roof" comments so apologies for that. I actually found that thread and video by @threepot - rang and he kindly emailed me the pin diagram PDF. Looks like I'm in the market for a new ECU, quite a lot of corrosion unfortunately.

    @Hubbington

    Well I was a bit harsh but now you’re a proper contributor to the forum so can take some well deserved credit.

    Try some electrical contact cleaner in the first instance. Most of the housing is aluminium so it may be a cheaper option rather than going for a replacement ECU.
