The German guy I got mine from can probably put any image onto a wind deflector if you have an image file of what you want.
I paid about £42 delivered for mine.

    What were you thinking of?

    Hi Adam

Hubby has an engineer friend at work who thinks he can do the same or simular to your own deflector as he has built his own rig at home,he has even suggeted lighting it up with LED,s will keep you posted:)

There's a light up wind deflector on Yahoo auctions in Japan. It has the Copen logo, like mine but also has blue led's in it. It does look nice.

I think we can mount some LED's under the bottom central clip.
But really to be effective, the wind deflector need to be engraved.

    Adam, is yours engraved?

Yep, it's laser engraved. Before I fitted it I put a blue led on the bottom edge. It did light up the engraved bit. I think you'd need a few good bright coloured Led's to make it look really good.

A guy at my work as a laser machine that can cut & engrave Perspex. I've been meaning to draw up the shape (I'm a design engineer using 3D modeling software) & get him to have ago at making one.

While I agree it looks interesting as a DIY project, I would not install it on my car. Not only because I prefer the minimalistic look but, and more importantly, the car (like most similar two seaters) has limited rear-view visibility when the roof is closed. I wonder if this would limit it even more (especially at night).

How do I get hold of your German guy, I can't seem to find a deflector anywhere on Google, I would like the original clear replacement with either Copen or Daihatsu written on it.
