Hello, I bought a couple of weeks ago my Copen, and i'm missing the plate between license plate and rear bumper. With as result big holes in my rear bumper. Does someone have the exact messurements of it ? or does somone know where to find one ? Thx Geert
Hello Geert, I think that the licence plate itself has the trapezoidal shape, it is like that on mine (sorry, I cannot take picture). Sure you will confirm on many pictures on this site. But I don't know who is able to produce such a plate If someone can giva a contact Nice time with your car
I recently purchased a new one for my car - brilliant service http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Selection...35-vehicles-/221481929622?hash=item33915a0b96
Thx Gwyn & Toocopen, but this is unfortionatly not legal in Belgium . We have the choise between 3 types off shapes for a lycense plate and the are made by the government. :-((
I changed my rear place to an Irish legal "Japanese" plate. The dimensions are 330mmx178mm. I shaved a small amount off the top of the plate to make it fit in the hole nicely. It sits on my old UK plate (which was the same size as the opening), and painted the yellow UK plate black. I'd recommend using glue or screws on the UK plate, and glue only on the .be plate - no unsightly screw holes then Old plate: Before painting: After painting (fitting the boot brace):
Hi Geert, I have a Polished Stainless Steel Shaped Plate which has never been fitted, PM me if your interested? Ken.
Me? I painted the orange / yellow UK plate black and stuck my Irish plate on top. It sticks out a small bit, but looks far better given the awkward size of the opening for the dimensions of a legal Irish plate
