    Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me the fuse location for the radio\CD player in an 09 Copen? I've been through the manual but the abbreviations used on the fuse box diagrams aren't very clear. There's a reference to "RAD" but I suspect it's not for the Radio as it's a 30amp fuse. More likely is that it's for the radiator cooling fan.

    Thanks,

    Clive

The switched ignition supply for the radio, is labelled ACC 7.5A in the fuse box by the drivers door.

See this thread for a photo.

Be aware there is another fuse (10A) that supplies a constant 12V for memory backup etc. This one is in the fuse box close to the battery in the engine compartment.

Info from page D-77 of the wiring manual.

    Rex.

Halfords are Amateurs. Yes is is easily possible to fit a new single or double din radio, just watch the depth or it may stick out of the dash a little.

    Search the site for 'radio'.

There are a few posts on here for radio replacement but I’m not sure if the 2009 models are slightly different. I struggled to take my Clarion out and gave up in the end. A good auto electrician may be the answer if you find the same problems.
