I have a 2003 Copen 0.7 turbo that I love but unfortunately Daihatsu no longer officially operate in Australia, so I need to get part through Toyota and this is very expensive (and the Australian aftermarket industry is not kind at all to Copen owners). I need a few parts and I need a supplier that can get me the parts I need (don't need to be OEM) and can send them to Australia.
The parts I need are as follows:
    - Turbo Charger Oil return pipe gasket
    - Turbo Charger coolant pipe feed/return pipe gasket
    - Exhaust manifold to turbo (exhaust intake) gasket
    - Turbo Charger to exhaust pipe (exhaust outlet) gasket
    - Radiator cap
    - Air filter
    - Air cleaner box to turbo charger pipe
    - Front Grill
    Please help.

Hi Scotant09, I have had success into Melbourne for items like air filter element via ebay at reasonable prices and mailed from UK, try ebay / micksgarage.com. Maybe they will have the gaskets too. Also there is a wrecker in Adelaide who has about a half-dozen Copens in various stages of health, I got some intake parts from there, try suziautocare listed on ebay.

also try searching for Copen or L880K on Global Rakuten or Buyee.jp -

    http://buyee.jp/item/search?query=copen

I've bought a lot from Yahoo Japan lately using Buyee.jp (including a DSport Air Filter). They don't seem to charge as much as some other local import options from Japan - and let you combine parcels to reduce the EMS delivery charges

Be aware a few "stores" on Rakuten that say they are "foreign customer welcome" don't bother responding at all - that's why I started using buyee more of late.

No dramas. If that is the case then I will actually use a website called jauce.com. I have used them before to get stuff direct from Japan. Thanks anyway though.

Are there any shops in Japan you can deal with directly? I'm after a set of shocks and possibly even a full set of tyres...

Yes, however I still use Jesse Streeter as my agent as he makes sure everything is in perfect shape before reshipping it to me.

Scotant09 - did you end up finding your parts?
I may be able to help you with:
    - Turbo Charger to exhaust pipe (exhaust outlet) gasket
    - Radiator cap
    - Air filter
    - Air cleaner box to turbo charger pipe
    - Front Grill

I'm clearing out all my "extra" Copen stuff...
