Well, I finally got around to playing with my number plates - which ended up being only half successful. I got a rear shaped number plate from craigsplates for my 1.3 Copen (Cee-Cee) only to find later that the shape is for the 0.6 model only and that the 1.3 (for which they don't make plates) is shaped differently in the back. No worries - I thought - some hack-sawing later and I had a semi-fitted plate. It looks all right from a distance but not close up. Anyone know where I can get a fitted one for the 1.3? The front plate was more sucsessful, an import plate with a japanese number plate surround - looks rather swish.
I can't help with the front plate I'm afraid, hopefully someone else will have some useful advice, but I do like that front plate. Where did you get the surround from?
The surround is from here: http://american-number-plate.com/accessories/?view=details&item=1310 Though there description given is a little misleading; on the rear are two metal tabs so only plates of 330mm x 165mm will fit and even these need a slight modification to fit under the tabs. I guess Japanese plates are thinner than ours.
