My wife currently has a single line standard front number plate but we think the square one would look better. Any suggestions for the correct size and maybe a vendor?

I think the single line plate on the Copen looks awful.
My Copen had an import size plate fitted from the Daihatsu dealer from new.
Slightly smaller lettering than normal on a small plate.
Just search for import plate on eBay. Lots of sellers.

I see that there are different sizes available. Is the copen considered an import as I see that imported cars have different rules to that of uk spec. What size would be legal in this country on a copen?

I've had no issues with the police or at MOT's with the plate I have.

Adam K very kindly supplied the link below when I was putting personised plates on my new aquired toy.

Fast service and the plates (square front, that funny shaped rear) were good and easy to fix. Cheap as well.

    Registration Plates

Hiya, I recently bought a new reg from DVLA for my wife Jill
Reg J111 NVP (lol) & we have just received the new set i.e. the front square/double line plate & the rear perfect fit special shape Copen plate.

I tried ebay but they got the wrong size, just like a few others I see. We also went to several big/national plate makers but without any luck. I was just about to give up when a friend (thanks Di) suggested I give 'McGann's A1 Motor Store)a try.

Well I did and was I impressed, you betcha. Everything about the store was just fantastic, the staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. They have even agreed to fit them for us. Their telephone number is 01604 715021 - Hope this helps, All Good Things, Nev
