Last night I finished and reinstalled my latest little pimp to keep the theme going, if you have seem my other ones. Think I need a light source on them to see more clearly and allow the colour to blaze.
Yes, but you have to turn them 180° so a little tab lines up with a hole/gap. They are greased up so watch that. I greased mine again before inserting again. No comment if you like Rex!
Going mad with more red paint again. looks too bright here. I think it looks a bit less red in reality. Not sure if I'd like it black now lol
They don't really bother me. I can't say I've ever seen a sun visor that gets be drooling with excitement. Actually its quite good without them as it feels like you have more of the windscreen to look out of. I wish the rear view mirror was smaller though as its wider that the area you can see the road behind. Why do we need to look at the headrests and your own ear!?? It limits forward vision too.
I've thought the same thing about the mirror it is too big. I find with the mirror positioned where i like it I can see my face in the mirror which I don't like. I should add that Its not my face i dislike its the distraction of something other than the road. The sun visors are quirky and I think fit in with the quirkiness of the car. The only thing I don't like is all that daft white printing on them. Has anybody ever read what it says on them? Then again I suppose that is another part of their quirkiness.
You could try this to get it out of the way (at least a little bit): You can also turn it around completely (but then, how to use the dimming function?) Pics from the french forum. Andreas
my problem with the sun visors is, unlike with every other car i've ever been in, where putting them down blocks the sun from your eyes, in these, they actually cover my view! - so unless i drive with the seat set so that i'm practically lying down, i'd crash.
Those pictures are interesting Andreas thanks for posting them. I'll have a look at those ideas, though it is the width of the mirror I have issues with.
Back in my Cappuccino owning days, I bought a sunvisor from an imported car. So instead of English warnings, I got much cooler warnings in Japanese. Sad, but true.
