Now I'm a proud Copen owner I've been checking everything and there's something I didn't spot before - there are no rear wheel arch liners. I'm sure there should be - there's a ledge on the leading edge that's just asking for a layer of crud to build up on it. Luckily the arches aren't rusty, though I can't see any signs of where the liners would have been attached. I'd be grateful for any advice - should there be a single moulded insert, or does it come in sections? Is it a straightforward shape such that I could fabricate a replacement myself? Thanks!
Thanks - do you have that flat ledge on the leading edge of the wheel arch? What stops dirt building up and causing rot?
I don't think they had wheel arch liners in the rear as mine doesn't have any, apart from a tiny piece behind the bumper.
Yes there should be rear wheel arch liners as factory fitted. They are reasonably simple and you should be able to make some. The liners are to be back only. There is no protection to the front.
I have just got a 2009 1.3 Copen in silver. Noticed what seemed to be a lack of rear arch liners also. Are they easy to find?
