As I was working through my open passenger door I say the scuff plate seemed to have quite a lot of water around the edge which suggested a fair amount underneath it. So in a flash I whipped it off, and the scuff plate. I had a think whether I should create a mini dam to prevent water going down the fixing holes but decided against it. On the grounds of being lazy. Well, I was unsure if the water would run out from the under the plate or more collect under there as the sill appears it maybe slanted in towards to car and not to the outside. Driver's side was near enough dry but still got the full works. I had though done some mods to the plates. The design is a twin hole look to match the exhaust I think it looks neat enough. I did the same for all 3 drain slits on both sides. Photos included.
