Here are some great pics of machinehead's mods - click the thumbnails to see a larger version. I'm sure he'll be along shortly to tell us more....
Thanks for posting those pics rushmere. I've tried to find a source for these items online, but the only site I found was Japanese. It was quite shocking to add up the purchase cost of all these bits of kit. In excess of £2500. Even the boot spoiler was an extra. These only became standard on the 1.3litre Copens. I know the body kit in particular won't be to everyones taste but, as much as I hate after-market body kits, I find this one looks OK. Maybe it's because it's understated and matches the body shape well, to my eyes anyway. The little chrome trims lift the otherwise bland dash just a little. The door sill trims are actually very classy looking. They remind me of older Jaguar style embellishments. What do people think? I have thick skin - fire away.
Thanks. Glad someone else likes it. The entire grill is also a modification. If you look closely you'll see that it doesn't have the "ridges" that are on a standard Copen grill. I'll try to find the website where I saw all this stuff for sale before. M.
Spoilers Sills/Exhaust Grill/badge Gas cap The body kit is surprisingly subtle. Had to check our car for reference. Looks the business Machinehead Regards, Sardine.
Thanks, Glad you like it. I'm not a lover of modified cars but I find these mods are subtle enough to be hardly noticed. Which is a good thing. M.
