My 1.3 Copen is in the recovery room after having had the engine replaced. Good news is that it runs much better than before but my mechanic has left a couple of bits out that I would like to put back. Problem is that we don't know/remember where they belong. Does anyone recognise any of them? I assume they are used to hold pipes or cables or connectors in place, but which and where from? All help will be highly appreciated.
Hi Salieri, yes I mentioned in a previous post that the chain was noisy and the car had done 130k miles. So instead of replacing the chain I managed to source a reputable whole engine with 45k miles for less money than the chain kit. Now the job is done and the Copen now purrs like a cat. I'm taking it out tomorrow for the first time after the transplant. Looking forward to it. I will eventually find out where those bits come from...
