I like the carbon fibre centre panel. I assume it's vinyl wrapped? Something I've considered.
How did you do the red rings? Bit of paint?

I wouldn't expect to see a fuel cap in your interior. That would be an interesting mod.:D
Did you paint the trims around the heater controls and is the Kevlar effect on the dash panel a stick on film? Chrome additions seem to be the more popular mods for most Copen owners, this is subtler and different.
I think it would look better if you also did the the circular vents surrounds in the same red, make the collars and cuffs match so to speak.

Yes ebay vinyl wrap special. I have some left over if you was interested. Yes I sprayed the chrome rings. Also with the wrap on they are not loose.
Gear knob is proper carbon over aluminium. Its a bit bigger but I'll get use to it, I hope! I painted the lower ring also, that was chrome.

I really like the carbon look on the center panel too, and the gearknob, can't forget that :p

    Nicely done :)

I'm not red there DaG......oh the car
Not kevlar, faux carbon fibre. Yes sticky sheet.
yeah there are quite a few chrome extras but I'm not much a chrome fan. I like dull and matt black lol
I thought about the vents, in carbon wrap though, but how do you get them off? I pulled with my fingers and seemed well attached. I didn't want to try a screw driver as expected to chew the plastic up.

I went through a MGTF phase a few years ago and looked at the latest Asian made TF. The centre panel and door cappings were finished in piano black gloss which looked great, especially as the car was white. I wonder what piano black would look like in the Copen interior?

My copen would blow those flames out! :D

But oh no, yellow and red additions will just clash. OK if the car body was red also .....Adam, get fired up!!

EDIT: although those look mostly orange, but I'd still say the same.

I wouldn't dare ask how much that cover costs delivered to the UK.:(

Trustafox, I can't believe you split hairs on the colour of those flames.
You're right though they are orange. I'll blame Google, I asked them for yellow flames.:D

Latest models were originally british made(2008-2009)then parts where shipped from China because the quality was better and just assembled back here in the uk(2010-2011)

If parts to mod your copen were as ready available as they are for the TF we all would have loads

Any mods are totally personal and anyone willing to put the effort in doing such should be applauded

Oh yes Nert, there a few pieces I would buy. I'd even spend quite a few hundred squid, but the price of parts in Japan, then shipping, then the anal rogering they call customs and import tax means I'd end up with just one part and fuel cap cover sticker! :-((

Hi trustafox ,Thanks for the photos. You ve made very good work with the carbon and the red rings are perfect.I think that carbon gives a race style for your copen. My opinion is that you can do something extra to upgate your carbon interior with something like that:cool:

Thanks TT. Thats good. I put in a carbon gear knob too and painted the bezel red. I'm very happy with the shade of red, its not too dark and its not too bright.

I'm 95% satisfied with the carbon. I may get the 4D stuff next and change it. That looks more glossy.
