i bought this wireless reversing camera/navigation off trademe.co.nz (nz$158 shipping inclusive), was interested in some other units on ebay though... Nb- Wireless is much easier to install as u dont need to bring the wires all the way from the boot to the front. It has, however, a delay time for responding (this nav takes 2.5sec.. The shorter the better for sure) 1. Connecting The transmitter (or camera power if it is wired reversing camera set) Plug the + power cable into the + side of one of the reversing light cables (either left or right) Finding the cable was bit treaky as no repair manual available online... Took me an hour only for finding the cable.(The reversing cable is hooked up with indicator) Put - cable into any bolt of the body. I recommend put it on the - cable of the reversing light, but there isnt enought room on the copen 2. Plug the receiver into the power socket (or u can simply link onto the power cable normally behind the stereo) And test with reverse gear. The screen should automatically turn on. 3. Install the screen wherever u want I flipped the location of the stereo and dummy, and attached magnetic hinge on the dummy. I think this spot might the best Testing.... Good as gold Cheers and
Yeah, I know~~~~~~ I just feel that.. cars nowaday must have reversing camera system and/or some screens for fun at least. It's 2016, not 2005 anymore
I personally prefer if cars do not have "all the gadgets", that's why I like my copen so much! But I would not say no to a 7" Touchscreen DVD Radio
A reverse camera can be useful for a low riding car like the Copen. The Copen can "beach" itself on park space berms/curbs that other cars clear easily. Only has to happen once...
