Hi wonderful Copen Club, I am the owner of a 2006 Copen (for the last 2 months) and the roof open light has come on. I took it to the auto electrician who tried opening and closing it manually but this has not rectified the fault. Can anyone give me the heads up on what typically causes this? I think your electrician needs to read through the manual, this will help him understand what is wrong, there is a way to interrogate the system to help pinpoint the fault. The manual is available in the resource section above.
Yes, you need to short the pins out on the OBD plug. I posted which ones they are somewhere on here a long time ago as there was a site that used to show it but is gone now..shame. I puts the roof into diagnostic mode & then light will start blinking and that will tell you what the fault is.
