I spent some time looking at a Toyota Prius belonging to one of my clients.

The thin I was most "taken" by was the HUD. It's a recessed section on the top of the dash, which reflects on the windscreen to show speed etc. Really cool.

I went looking for similar for my little Copen and it's apparent that a lot of them want to connect to the OBD port.

I have a 659CC model, as imported by Toyota to Australia in 2004. Would I have an OBD port? A quick search on here reveals terms such as J-OBD etc, and I'm confused.

The Aussie car aren't OBD2 but some stuff works I've heard. It's a matter of try it and see unfortunately.

I think the ultimate solution is to buy a Prius, lol. Their HUD is buried deep in the dash, looks so good floating "outside" the windscreen.
