Hi All, If anyone has an original stainless gear knob for sale then please get in touch with me as they appear to be less common than something a rocking horse does. Alternatively if anyone knows of an aftermarket part (screw on as oppose to the cheap grub screw variety) that would do the job then I'd be grateful to hear about it. Many thanks in advance. John

Thanks Chris, that listing is no longer available. Was that for a screw on type knob as the ones I've bought previously with grub screws are useless as after a while they rotate and come loose.
Hi John, Try the breakers of these four Copens to see if they have the standard gear knob. The standard gear knob was prone to scratching over the years. However they can be brought back to a nice polished finish with some Autosol & elbow grease. Keep an eye on eBay they do appear from time to time. I paid @ £65 for the accessory gear knob from Daihatsu three years ago ( sorry I'm keeping the old chrome one). Contact your nearest ex-Daihatsu dealer to order one.
