We're heading for Ireland this weekend and will be travelling around quite a bit. The Flying Copen is a gorgeous pearlescent white and we'll have the top down every chance we get even though the weather doesn't look great... Post on here if you see us! Wave like crazy fools and we'll wave back ;-)
Where's the sunshine gone? We did from the North to Dublin with top down and came back two days later with top down again- brilliant! The newer roads on that trip are smooth and perfect for Copens. This week we've been into Donegal... Not so much open top driving there. Too much rain! but we had a nice evening yesterday to explore the coast around The Rosses after the rain cleared and the sun came out. Gorgeous scenery around there, but ya gotta keep you eyes on the road for those Donegal pot holes and rough stretches of Tarmac smoothed out with nothing but shovels and hobnailed boots! Down to ten miles an hour on some stretches. PS still looking for those wee fellas Rex. Maybe we'll see them after a few more Guinness!
The UK roads are defiantly getting worse. I worry about the suspension some times Have bottomed out the front end a couple of times, :-(( but so far, no damage. Also locally there seems to be a lot of surface dressing recently - chippings everywhere Rex.
Heading home Flying Copen is heading home. Just crossed the Irish Sea and heading across Scotland. It's a gorgeous evening perfect for top down wind in the hair driving but sadly we have a boot full of luggage, so it's gotta be top up all the way. End of the Ireland tour. All the best to all the Copen drivers!
I hope you enjoyed your holiday. We're just back tonight from Co Clare. Now that's a county for bad roads!! The drive from Kinvarra to Ballyvaughan cost me three fillings. M.
Heh! I can just imagine the scene... "Now, sorr, are you goin' to be givin' us the tree fillin's, or are we goin' to have to be after takin' them?" (producers large pair of pliers)
