I have my Copen for about six months now and I don't have any over the top roof rattling to worry about, thank god. However, the door tends to make rattling sounds whenever I have the window lowered (it comes from the front part of the door). Is this normal? Does it happen to yours? Can I do something to fix it?
I have the same issue with the passenger door at the moment, whether the window is up or down...I've been thinking of checking on here as to how hard it is the remove the trim so I can take a look inside....
Very easy. Just two screws one behind the silver inset to the door handle . just flip it out with a flat blade screw driver . you can see the screw then . The other one is in the door release pull look close you will see plastic cover covering a screw flip it out as before . once both screws are out get bottom edge of door card and pull . Don't be afraid it will come then push door card up as to release from window edge.
On my partner's Toyota Echo, removing the door panels just reveals sheets of plastic glue all around the door frame - can I expect the same from the Copen?
