So I was looking at changing my side indicators for some chrome bulbs. To loose the orange colour form the side indicators. To take off the side indicator I found you could access the snap tabs from behind the front wing if you look down the gap in the door opening. Wind the window down & open the door about half way. Get a long flat blade screw driver & push on the plastic snap of the indicator housing. With your other hand on the outside of the wing, pull the indicator off. Problem was that the orange bit was glued into the housing, the bulb was clear not orange as I thought. So I've done some digging. These are from a Lexus LS430, part number 81731-51020 http://mthill.com/copen/view/side/392/600 They look the same fit as the Copen versions. Incidentanly the Copen ones have Toyota stamped on the back of them. Problem is these Lexus parts are expensive. Searching Lexus forums it turns out owners of IS200 & IS300 also try to fit the LS430 clear indicator housings. So they must be all the same fit. So searching ebay I found these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IS200-IS3...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5197e715f5 They certainly look the same fittings on the rear. Anyway I have bought a pair to see if they do fit. Keep you posted.
Looks like I might be onto the right course. http://www.copenclub.net/viewtopic.php?p=6525&sid=b237ff8152dad7672bc355d8e9232de4
They turned up today. Result is they are a perfect fit. Completly interchangable. Photos to follow later.
