    Dear fellow Copen-owners

Does anyone have experience copying the radio signal coming from the key fob, in order to create a spare in case of loss?

Just to be clear: Not looking to copying signals of others! Just looking to make a copy of the signal of the remote I own, e.g. into a universal remote.

Thanks in advance for any advice that can be given.

    Hi Hugo

I might be able to help you depending on the make of key fob e.g. attached

    Regards

    Dear Guzziman,

My Fob seems to be an original Daihatsu part that originally came with the vehicle. I wanted to upload a photo but for some reason that is not working; so to describe the Fob: Small (approx 2cmx1cm), brown, square with 2 buttons only. It is I believe just for opening the car (so not linked to any alarm system).

Thanks in advance for any advice you might be able to provide,

    Hugo B.
