Saw this on FB thought it would be interesting to the folks here. I am not sure why they did it in the first place.
yes I was looking at these photos on FB also. I rather like it. I can see the point in it and why they did? because they can! its not dissimilar to an artist with a blank canvas. Except this is blank and ends up have practical application. I think if the colour matched it would look better still. Ditch the dog too!
It doesn't appeal to me but they did a damn good job with the conversion. Probably the world's smallest wagon around?
This is pure VANDALISM - It is horrible, it looks terrible and is no longer a Copen. A pointless waste of effort! "It's a nice day, I think I'll get the roof down. Oh! I can't because I've ruined my Copen!"
reminds me of a Micra (no, that's not a +ve). But does look like it could be removed and returned to standard.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY?????????????? because you can? fair enough but I am not a fan of this artistic impression considering the work that went into it
I do like that white Copen, the front end is something else. Can't decide whether I like the black roof though it might look better in white. Nice wheels as well.
Yes, it would be better with a white roof. Then it would still look like a cute small car - having a black roof seems to make it look like any other convertible with a detachable hard top rather than a car where at first glance you can't immediately tell that it has a folding roof.
The rear wing looks good, just not on the back of a Copen thats narrower than the wing and still got its original. Being in Nippon it will only have the buzzing 0.7. Combine it with the drag that you get from that wing and I bet it struggles to touch 60 mph. Also because when he has his rack fully loaded the front wheels might be just skimming the road. The rack could also be used to carry the body of someone you have just run over. Saving the need to ring for an ambulance and as hospital corridors are wide, you could drive them straight into the emergency room
It would be illegal in this country due to obscuring the number plate. Also it appears to stick past the sides of the car which could be hazardous to a pedestrian you'd just ran over. Edit: Just had another look and it doesn't stick past the sides of the car so the pedestrian you'd just ran over would be fine.
The width issue is touch and go whether it is slightly wider or not. I think this debate could go on deep in to the night. Anyway If I ran over them I've clearly allowed them to bypass the potential hazard of anything sticking out the sides to hit them. It needs a plate fixed and hinged to the carrier's underneath shows when its in the stowed away position or in the down cargo position. We're looking legal now DaG. Who turn is it to ride in the carrier? The carrier would be great for carrying any surplus of seatbelt guides.
If you put somebody of, to be polite shall we say with a bit of timber on them, in the carrier the bloody front end would come up. One of the pics I looked at I thought it stuck out the sides but another picture with a different angle shows its inside the width of the car. Talking of belt guides I'm still waiting for your critique of the MK111 set I sent you. How can I market them worldwide without your Jeremy Clarkson-esque appraisal? I await your PM.
