Afternoon all! I feel I should receive some kinda points for my successful Copen spotting day!? Parked behind a grey one on Bristol Rd by the ROHospital this morning (left note which is probably a soggy wet mess on the wiper - apologies but you are the first I have encountered and had a pen to leave note) Drove past a guy driving a silver one as I passed the garage by the QE in Selly Oak (thinking about it - hopefully he didn't see my pathetic, frantic waving but was quite excited to see 2 in one day) Drove past another silver one about 15 mins later by Rowley Regis train station driven by another guy who I flashed but I think he was trying to dodge traffic so not looking at the line of traffic I was sitting in! Quite chuffed to see so many of us out and about on the streets of Brum! I just wonder if anyone else has spotted a few while on their travels in one journey?
I did see two in one day. I often see a silver copen travelling down Bagnal Road in Basford, and once I saw a yellow copen in Moorgreen
Wow! I've seen 2 in one day, one which was parked on someone's drive - If that counts! Good spotting!!
Haha! Three in one day! Well, I've spotted three in Whitehaven since ... umm ... November: silver (like Neville), champagne and today a grey one on an 09 plate. I wanted to stop and leave a note on it, but was on a mission . So, no, even spotting one in a day makes it feel like a red-letter day - they're rare beasts!
Kate7619 I live very near to Rowley and drive a silver Copen, but it wasn't me you saw because mines still in the garage! I know of another copen which is champagne colour, also close by
SilverRollerskate I am keeping my eyes peeled for the champagne one as they are my favourite colour Copen - exciting! DaG the flashing issue is possibly a moment of insanity of Copen spotting excitement (I surprised myself) - don't forget I can boast that in total I did see 5 Copens that day but two are sitting on my driveway so they don't really count! x
I waved to a Copen coming towards me a while back and the female driver looked at me like I was Fred West. I don't do that anymore, unless the driver waves first of course.
Didn't take you long to reply with one of those spectacular barbs of wit. If I see you coming towards me I won't wave, I will put certain fingers up though.
Knowing you area's fishing culture, it will probably be fishfingers. That is you can manage it with how your face is so close to the windscreen when you are driving.
