Chrome rings

    Before and after pics of the chrome rings from ChromDesign for the air vents and the buttons. I think the air vent ones look really good, better than in the photos.

    I have them on mine and they look great. A real retro look. Well worth it.

    are the chrome rings around the heater/blower dials standard? as I have them on mine. I'm not intending on going down the chroming up route, so if I ever take the panel off I'd take them out and they'd be up for offer.

    Better take them out, paint black (matt or glossy, whcih I have) and put them back in.

    OK, I had that idea of spraying them. I didn't know if there would be much more of a gap when removed. They are not offensive, just ideas I'm having. In fact I thought of spraying them red to go with the leather.

    How are the airvents being removed? Unscrewing doesn't seem to work for me.

    The vent rings are held on by four catches I think. If you could get to them with a slim enough tool you'd be all set...
