Hi, all new owner and just trying to get my Copen through an MOT. One of the faults noted was brake fluctuations. I've scanned it and it comes up with C1251 code(pump motor resovoir system). Google hasn't really helped much, anyone had any experience with this? Thanks Sean
Hi Sean As far as I can make out on page E3 – 19 it states replace the ABS actuator. The sensor may simply need cleaning, hope this helps.
Hi Shiftyseamus Revision on information. It states in the manual: - Making sure that the all the ABS wheel sensors on all four wheels are clean and do not file clean. Clean gently with non-metallic tools and then double check wire connection for each one, to ensure electrical continuity. Do not disturb the distance between the sensor and the disc. In the manual it’s a very finite measurement parameter. These are essentially passive control. (The manuals are accessible on this web site)
