Hello all. I have just joined the world of Copen and will need some help, I'm sure. I picked up a 2005 car today, with a few issues, but overall in good condition. I need to wait 7 days before I can download the resources from the forum, so if anyone knows another way of downloading an owners manual it would be very much appreciated. In the meantime, my car has a something like a misfire, which possibly seems fuel supply related. Anyway, my starting point was to use my standard ODB2 code reader to start the diagnostics but it doesn't want to connect to the car. I've used this on lots of other cars and not experienced this before. Does anyone know if I need a specific reader? Many thanks!

Mine is a 2007 model but the generic ODB2 reader I bought on eBay for £15 connected ok and helped identify and clear my ignition coil error.

Thank you. Is your car a UK car or import?

    It's UK 1.3.

This is the scanner I used - nothing very advanced.
