Hello dear all, I've bought recently a BC Racing coilovers kit for my Copen. Unfortunately, I've a lot of issues with that stuff. My supplier told me that 13 of this kit were sold in the UK the last 18 months. So, is somebody here using this stuff, with what kind of result ? If you can provide a few pictures, it'll help a lot. Thanks in advance to all for the help
I am sorry, I am not in Switzerland or the UK, I am in greece. I got BC racing coilovers. I have not had any issues. Or, to be more precise, I did not sense any issue. They are only barely better than the original ones, and the original ones where also shot. I bought the coilovers not for extra performance, not to make the car lower or anything like that, but only in the hopes that after a couple years, I will be able to repair/rebuild these coilovers instead of buying new suspensions altogether.
Dont be sorry ;-) I've had a lot of issues with those crappy chinese stuff, as more then -3° of camber, steering issues due to the rubber upper mounts, weak shock absorbers and springs, no possibility to lower the car more then 15mm, and issues with the super poor aluminium quality of the alu parts... So much issues especially for the price paid for that stuff... I've used it for max 10 km before throwed away and ordered an other coilovers kit from a well known brand.
It was my 1st choice but my supplier is unable to provide it...so, after his warm advices, I've bought those crappy BC Racing coilovers. After a lot of emails, he finally take his stuff and sell me a set of RS-R Sport*i coilovers. I'll recieve it end october, so I'll be able to let a feedback her about it.
Hi, Yes, my car is on RSR Sport i coilovers. I'm super happy with those. Where are you in Switzerland and where did you buy your BC ?
I'm working in Lonay, so it can be very easy to meet you ! I think your kit was my "old" one. Did you have a nice discount ?
I'll send you my phone number! In comparison with the price in France, I paid CHF 390 for the approval
