Hey guys & gals, got a copen today & she has a bad case of rust on the arches. Is there an aftermarket replacement that can be welded in or whats the best plan of attack for this?

    Thanks in advance!

Find yourself a decent body shop and take it from there. Most good ones will be able to fabricate patch panels but it obviously won’t be cheap.

Whereabouts in Telford are you ? I used to work in Dawley and then Wellington.

You can order genuine panels through an ex Daihatsu dealership. (I know Kia Triangle of Chesterfield can definitely get them for example) They are made to order in Japan so it can take a month or so to arrive.

They cost about £397 each. (£331 ex vat)

Definitely more than I want to spend. Was hoping for aftermarket to be honest.
