I have been able to do it. I installed a Sony XAV-AX200 which supports Android auto and Apple carplay. I really like the pioneer SPH-DA360DAB. It has the wireless apple car play, DAB and 6.8 inch screen. But the wireless connection makes it a winner for me. Saw a review from ‘9to5’ on YouTube and there is no lag. So for me this is my next radio.

As far as I know you need the special one, but the results are great! Mine is fitted on the edge of the window by the passenger side. So it’s not in your sight and easy to hide the cable.
You can get the "sticky" buttons on the left to the right in the settings. Closer to you when you sit on the other side
I didn't find the setting on my unit unfortunately I tried... But it's on the settings of the radio isn't it? There was unfortunately nothing
